How it works
Set it up once. Then just call.
01
Connect your agents
Add ToneDown to your agent, then tell it “Set up ToneDown.” It sets itself up and runs a test brief on its own. Duet, Dots, Muse, Grok Bot, OpenClaw, Claude Code or one you built.
02
They brief and wait
Each agent keeps a short list of what it’s doing and what it needs from you, and keeps working until you call.
03
You call in
Call when you have a minute, answer out loud and hang up. Your agents move on your answers. One only calls you when it’s urgent.
You: “What’s still blocked?”
ToneDown: “Your ops agent needs a pick on the vendor renewal. It recommends a year.”
You: “Go month to month.”
Why a phone call
Screens were a workaround.
Screens were invented so people could talk to machines. Before that, we just talked to each other. Now the machine can listen, so the screen can go back in a drawer and the phone can go back to being a phone.
Need an update?
Call in and hear what moved and what needs you.
Need to decide something?
Say your pick. Your agents take it from there.
Something can’t wait?
Your agent calls you, only when it’s urgent.
Only your phone can call it. Your agents, your key.
How it’s secured
You stay in control, and you’ll be found when you’re truly needed.
